A Message from the Chief
In 2025, our department responded to a record number of emergencies, with 115 more calls than last year. It was a busy year, but our firefighters continued to show professionalism, compassion, and dedication on every call. From medical emergencies to fires and serious crashes on I 96, our team worked hard to keep both townships safe.
We’re grateful for the support we receive from our community and from our neighboring fire departments. Working together makes all of us stronger. Thank you for trusting us to serve you.

• 363 calls in Berlin Township
• 175 calls in Orange Township
• 93 incidents on Interstate 96
• 36 mutual aid responses

Medical calls and traffic crashes continue to make up most of our activity.

Interstate 96
I 96 remains one of the busiest and most challenging areas we respond to. In 2025, we handled 93 incidents on the freeway. High speeds and heavy traffic mean our firefighters must work quickly and safely to protect everyone involved.
