Treasurer’s report was approved as read.
Discussion on continued communication with City of Ionia regarding 425 property.
Motion made my M. Palmer and supported by WM Vaarberg to write a letter of support for Homeworks Connect regarding: MI BEAD Grant Program. Motion passed 5 yes, 0 no, and 0 absent.
Motion made by M Palmer and supported by WM Vaarberg for Berlin Twp to apply for a credit card from Mercantile Bank. Motion passed 5 yes, 0 no, and 0 absent.
Motion made by R Bennett and supported by M Palmer to pass Ordinance #26 To Establish a Basis for Reimbursement of Charges, Costs and Fees Incurred by The Berlin-Orange Township Fire Department. Motion passed 5 yes, 0 no, and 0 absent.
After 44 years of wonderful service, M Palmer resigned as Berlin Twp Treasurer. Berlin Twp Board Members would like to sincerely thank her for her many decades of serving our community.
Motion made by R Alexander and supported by M Vaarberg to appoint Penny Rust as Treasurer. Motion passed 5 yes, 0 no, and 0 absent.
